I know taking a risk is scary (trust me), but the greatest fear of all is looking back on your life and wishing that you had taken that chance.

R.I.P Zaki (December 12, 2000 - May 23, 2012)

Unfortunately, we had to make the tough decision to put our loyal old Zaki boy to sleep this morning. He was a wonderfully funny, loyal, and intelligent dog.

Zaki gave us all his love and so much joy for over 11 years. We will never forget him. Although my head says we made the right decision, my heart is aching.

I try to find comfort imagining that Zaki is now playing Cops & Doggie Robbers in Doggie Heaven.

This video was shot in February of 2011. I hope it brings you just a glimmer of the type of joy that Zaki always brought us.
